SUV tyres: Auto Bild Allrad 2021 test
In its 2021 summer tyre test, Auto Bild Allrad looks at ten premium, mid-range and budget brands, products ranging in price from around £230 to £450 for a set of four. The test team was, by and large, impressed with the candidates’ performance and declared six of the test products either ‘exemplary’ or ‘good’. They declined to recommend just one tyre.
The motoring publication examined how the size 215/60 R17 tyres behaved during a series of challenges on wet and dry tarmac as well as on a range of off-road terrains. The test team also evaluated the tyres for rolling resistance, noise and ride comfort.
