Fentec merges with ToP Tunniste

ToP Tunniste, which supplies RFID solutions to businesses including the tyre industry, has merged with Fentec Partners Ltd. The merger, which was completed on 31 December 2020 means the company is now known as Fentec Ltd, effective 1 January 2021.

Commenting on the news Fentec stated: “The fusion does not affect on our commercial agreements or practises. Already familiar contact persons are still responsible for the operations and customer relations.”

Fentec publicised one of its pre-merger contracts during 2020 – the supply of RFID technology to the Algerian Saterex tyre factory, which products tyres under the Iris Tyres brand:

“In order to enhance production management at the Saterex tyre plant, Black Donuts developed an RFID based electronic eKanban solution together with Toptunniste. The new eKanban solution enables better and real time tracking of overall production status, optimizes the production process and supports work management.”
