Birla Carbon to raise carbon black prices 9%

Birla Carbon will increase its carbon black prices by up to 9 per cent.  All shipments made on or after the implementation date are subject to the price increase. The price increase is set to take effect from 19 April 2021.

Commenting on the reasons for the price hike, a company statement said: “This increase is necessary due to the increasing costs of doing business in all regions. Birla Carbon is committed to serving its customers in every region of the world. It must take this action to ensure the continued supply of high-quality carbon blacks, innovative solutions and services, and new carbon black products.”
