PFPR takes on Vredestein public relations in Europe
Apollo Tyres Europe has appointed UK-based agency PFPR Communications to conduct public relations for the Vredestein brand in Europe. Working across the company’s business in the passenger car, off-highway, and truck and bus sectors, the specialist automotive agency will handle public relations strategy, media relations and asset generation alongside a host of other communication tasks.
Supported by a network of partners in key markets across Europe, PFPR begins its remit with the launch of Vredestein’s new Ultrac summer tyre. Simultaneously, the PFPR team will work on Vredestein’s core brief, to raise the profile of the full spectrum of tyres produced by the company at its plants in the Netherlands and Hungary.
“After evaluating different agencies, we are convinced that PFPR will help us to strengthen our brand positioning in Europe in the best possible way,” said Ton Coppus, Apollo Vredestein’s manager marketing communications.
“It’s an honour to be selected by Apollo Tyres Europe to represent the Vredestein brand across Europe,” adds Peter Cox, managing director of PFPR. “The premium Dutch brand has a long and proud heritage and is one of the most technically capable tyre brands in the world. We look forward to sharing fascinating stories about the broad spectrum of Vredestein products and to working closely with media across Europe.”
PFPR Communications was established in 2001 and works with automotive companies large and small all around the world. With clients ranging from car manufacturers to technology providers and from retailer groups to tier one suppliers, the agency has a wealth of experience that it will put to work for Vredestein.
