Yokohama makes management changes

Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd has made a series of adjustments in the roles and responsibilities of its officers and executives – all effective 1 October 2020.

Firstly, the company noted a change in a member of the board’s responsibility. Gota Matsuo is now Member of the Board and Managing Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Head of Corporate Administration Div., in charge of Corporate Finance & Accounting Dept., Head of Corporate Social Responsibility Div., Head of IT & Management System Planning Div., President of Yokohamagomu Finance Co., Ltd., Head of Corporate Social Responsibility Planning Dept. Previous he was Member of the Board and Managing Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Head of Corporate Administration Div., in charge of Corporate Finance & Accounting Dept., in charge of Corporate Social Responsibility Div., President of Yokohamagomu Finance Co., Ltd.

At the same time, Atao Kishi becomes Managing Officer, Head of Commercial Tire Div., Head of Commercial Tire Business Planning Dept., Chairman of ATC Tires Pvt. Ltd. Before that he was Managing Officer, Head of Commercial Tire Div., Head of Commercial Tire Business Planning Dept., Chairman of ATC Tires Pvt. Ltd., President of Yokohama Tire Retread Co., Ltd.

Meanwhile Shigetoshi Kondo retires into the role of Advisor, President of Yokohama Tire Retread Co., Ltd, concluding his work as Officer, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility Div., Head of IT & Management System Planning Div., President of Hamagomu Aicom Inc., Head of Corporate Social Responsibility Planning Dept.

The management adjustment also included a couple of newly appointed associate officers. Firstly, Manabu Namatame becomes Associate Officer, Acting Head of Japan Replacement Tire Sales & Marketing Div., Head of Japan Replacement Tire Commercial Tire Sales & Marketing Dept., Member of the Board of Yokohama Tire Japan Co., Ltd. Prior to this he was Head of Japan Replacement Tire Commercial Tire Sales & Marketing Dept., Member of the Board of Yokohama Tire Japan Co., Ltd.

Shigehiko Amano also becomes Associate Officer, President of Shandong Yokohama Rubber Industrial Products Co., Ltd. He is promoted into the role from his previous and continuing role as President of Shandong Yokohama Rubber Industrial Products Co., Ltd.
