Goodyear Farm Tires launches agricultural photography contest
Goodyear Farm Tires has launched a photography competition for the agricultural community. The manufacturer wants farmers to submit eye-catching photography in three different categories, Farming Landscapes, Farming Family Life and My Tractor and Machinery Running on Goodyear Farm Tires, at its website before the closing date on 12 October. Wining entries will be featured in the company’s 2021 marketing material, viewed by tens of thousands of people across the UK. The winners will also receive a share of a prize fund of more than £2,000 worth of merchandise and product.
Natalie Dukes, marketing and communications manager at Goodyear Farm Tires, said: “This is a new initiative for us and an exciting opportunity for anyone involved in farming across the UK.
“Our aim is to produce a photographic showcase of everything which makes farming life in the UK so special, whether that be people, machinery or scenery, and part of the prize represents a unique opportunity to feature in our print and online publications.
“We want to leave as much as possible to the interpretation and imagination of the entrants, but our judges will be considering composition, technical ability, originality and public appeal, as well as suitability for inclusion in our marketing material, when making their final decisions.”
One winner will be selected for each category, with each receiving £250 worth of Goodyear Farm Tires merchandise.
The winners of the My Tractor and Machinery Running on Goodyear Farm Tires section will receive £1,000 worth of Goodyear Farm Tires vouchers. Six runners-up prizes of £50 worth of merchandise are also on offer.
Titan International has been manufacturing Goodyear Farm Tires in America for more than a decade and purchased the licence for the European and UK markets in 2015. It has also made a significant investment in new plant and equipment to manufacture tyres specifically for the European market.
