Falken launches five-year guarantee on all car tyres

Falken Tyre Europe has launched a five-year guarantee on its tyres. The Sumitomo Rubber Industries global tyre brand will offer a percentage retail voucher based on the remaining tread depth down to 2mm within five years of purchase. Should the tyre have 90 per cent of its tread depth, Falken will provide a replacement Falken tyre. The guarantee applies to tyres sold by a Falken partner or original equipment tyres on new cars. The new guarantee backs Falken’s confidence in its development and manufacturing quality standards, the brand states.

Falken is operating the guarantee through its retail partners; vouchers or replacement tyres will be credited to the retailer, who in turn reimburses his customer. An additional fee to cover expenses (analysis, fitting, tyre disposal and administration) will ensure that the dealer is fully compensated for their support, Falken adds. Cases not covered by the warranty include improper use such as incorrect air pressure, overloaded tyre, improper use and accidental or external damage.

“Our tyres are developed and produced according to the strictest quality standards. Therefore, we are proud to offer our guarantee, which will set the standard in the industry, ”explains Daniel Hupke, head of technical service and quality control at Falken Tyre Europe.

“The most important thing for us was to be able to offer our customers a strong and transparent guarantee, which we achieved with a simple process. In addition, the administrative requirements of the tyre dealer are reduced to a minimum. Dealers, at best, get new customers who can trust the quality of Falken tyres.”
