Duraturn: tyre recall limited to US market

Following the news that Yanchang Rubber-produced Duraturn brand Travia AT SUV and light truck tyres have been recalled in the US, company representatives have confirmed that the measure should only affect the American tyre market.

Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Group Rubber Co., Ltd. sales director Leon Chen told Tyres & Accessories that the NHTSA recall is particularly related to tyres produced for the USA and especially those produced in 2017. The effects of the recall should be limited to the USA, he explained, adding: “[it] will not affect other markets”. And therefore customers in the UK and Europe should not be affected.
