Hamaton promotes H47 diagnostic/sensor tool
Previewed at last year’s Autopromotec, Hamaton is promoting its H47 device, which the company calls “the most cost-effective diagnostic tool launched by Hamaton to date.”
The Hamaton H47, manufactured in partnership with ATEQ exclusively for Hamaton’s sensors, is a TPMS sensor programming tool that is designed to activate and read 100 per cent of OE and aftermarket TPMS sensors for all light vehicle brands. The H47 TPMS tool displays all sensor data (ID, tyre pressure, tyre temperature, battery status etc.) and programs sensors in seconds, either by creating or cloning an ID, typing the ID manually or simply retrieving the ID’s directly from the vehicle’s ECU.
To perform an ECU reset in less than 2 minutes, a connection to an all-in-one OBD module has been integrated and several types of relearn procedures (manual, auto, OBD) are also available for direct and indirect TPMS systems. The system comes with five years of free software and quarterly software updates.
