Cimcorp separates tyre and warehousing sales teams
Finnish automated equipment specialists Cimcorp has separated its tyre manufacturing and warehousing/distributions sales teams due to increased demand. The new structure of system sales at Cimcorp’s headquarters, which is effective from the beginning of June, is designed to “support the company’s growth and form the basis for…continuing development”.
As a result, three new directors have been appointed. And, specifically, former sales manager Veli-Matti Hakala has been appointed as director, Tire Industry Sales.
With an MSc in Automation Technology from the University of Tampere, Finland, Hakala joined Cimcorp in mid-2018, with a mandate to take care of the company’s Asian and specifically Chinese tyre manufacturer business. He has 20 years’ industry experience, with the majority of his roles being in engineering and automation. He has held positions as Technical Manager, General Manager and Business Manager in international business, involved in the development and sales of automation solutions.
Kai Tuomisaari, Vice President, Sales, said: “We are making these changes in order to ensure that all customer expectations continue to be met. The needs of our clients in the tyre industry differ somewhat from those of our customers in the warehouse and distribution sector, and we believe that this organizational change will enable us to provide even more efficient and personal service during project negotiations than previously.”
Commenting on the changes, Veli-Matti Hakala said: “The new tyre sector sales department concentrates the considerable tyre industry know-how of our experienced and committed sales team. With this reorganization, we will be able to focus more strongly on the evolving needs of our tyre industry clients, enhance our services as an integrator and respond more quickly to the challenges customers face.”
