Cemb launches Evo version of ER85 wheel balancer

Cemb has launched the ER85 Evo wheel balancer, a renewed and improved version of the ER85. The Evo version of the ergonomic wheel balancer version is more efficient thanks to the implementation of Hubmatch programme. The programme works alongside the Sonar EMS during measurements launch to detect and correct any imbalance.

Another improvement to the ER85 Evo version is the addition of an electromagnetic brake to the automatic positioning system. This helps to improve positioning speed by locking the wheel instantaneously at the exact correction point. Weight application is further simplified by the laser spotter which indicates the precise point of application of the weight. An LED light also illuminates the work area inside the rim.

The machine is equipped with an OPB (One Plane Balancing) programme that allows users to eliminate static and dynamic balance by applying a single counterweight. The machine’s AutoAdaptive software estimates the wheel weight during the measurement cycle and calculates the tolerance value to cancel any vibration perceived on the steering wheel, improving driving comfort.
