Pro-Align expands product range

Pro-Align is offering two new systems that have been added to an expanded range of equipment to workshops, bodyshops and tyre retailers looking to cut their operating costs and reduce vehicle repair times.

The Teknel Butterfly and Teknel Dragon 300 are two powerful induction heaters that allow technicians to heat ferrous materials and aluminium in a matter of seconds. The incredible performance of the systems means that a host of regular workshop operations such as unlocking joints and bolts, removing sealants and paints, and the straightening of rigid axles, can be carried out quicker and easier than ever before. What’s more, in addition to the speed and efficiency gains, workshops using the induction heaters can typically save more than 50% of the cost of using gaseous based heating equipment.

The addition of the Teknel induction heaters is the first step on this journey and one which we are sure will help workshops overcome their profitability and efficiency challenges.”

Thanks to the absence of flames and the fingertip accuracy of the heating wand, the Teknel induction heaters can be used near pipes and cables without the risk of damage normally associated with gas-based systems.

Both induction heaters are capable of heating required areas up to a maximum of 800 degrees Celsius. The Butterfly has a maximum power of 3.5Kw and the Dragon 3.9Kw, which are both selectable on 10 different output levels.

The Butterfly is the smallest, high-power induction heater with a liquid cooling system ever. It provides more than 30 minutes of continuous working time and with a weight of just 7kg.

Meanwhile the Dragon 300 induction heater can bring a red-hot temperature of 800 degrees Celsius to a material depth of 5mm in just eight seconds.
