Trelleborg proposes postponement of dividend payment
The Board of Directors of Trelleborg has decided to withdraw its previous dividend proposal. Instead, the Board intends to propose that the company’s Annual General Meeting – which is scheduled to take place on 23 April – resolves that no dividend be paid.
A dividend for the 2019 fiscal year will most likely be decided upon at an extraordinary general meeting later this year. Trelleborg has yet to set a date for this meeting, only indicating that it will take place “when the market has stabilised, and visibility of earnings has normalised.”
Trelleborg states that its decision to propose no payment of dividend at this time doesn’t change the Group’s dividend policy.
