Giti Tire (UK) donates PPE to frontline NHS staff
Giti Tire (UK) has donated 400 face masks to frontline NHS staff at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT), a key North West Trust in the fight against the coronavirus.
Giti Tire’s Singapore headquarters supplied the MediCos Sub Micron Surgical Type II Face Masks. They secured the masks from Malaysia and are actively trying to procure further personal protective equipment (PPE). Giti has shipped further boxes of masks to other European Giti offices.
Brian McDermott, country manager – UK for Giti Tire said: “This small donation pales into insignificance seeing what the amazing staff of the NHS are going through and we are in total awe of their dedication. We think it’s only right that we should do whatever we can to help them on the front line.
“We choose MFT as it is the closest major centre to our UK office in Northwich, and we will be working closely with HQ to try and secure more PPE equipment which we will again donate post-haste.”
