Marangoni continuing production despite Covid-19 lockdown

Marangoni Group has posted a statement on its twitter feed reassuring customers that its Italian production facilities will continue manufacturing despite the coronavirus (Covid-19) emergency. The statement follows the news that 16 million Italian citizens have been quarantined in the North of the country as a result of the epidemic.

Marangoni’s statement reads: “Despite the coronavirus emergency, we will keep manufacturing and serving normally our customers taking advantage of our international footprint. Currently, the Italian sites are operating normally in accordance with the measures provided by the responsible Authorities.”

The clear implications of the message are firstly that Marangoni production is currently continuing and secondly that the business has enough to international capacity to continue manufacturing outside Italy as well.
