Hankook Tire opens office for Austria & Switzerland

Hankook Tire is aiming for a “double-digit” share of the market in Austria and Switzerland, and to help grow the Hankook brand in both countries it has opened a new branch office in Vienna.

“For us, developing the Swiss and Austrian markets with a new branch office is essential for Hankook’s strategic expansion in Europe,” comments Sanghoon Lee, president of Hankook Tire Europe. “Now we can offer an even better service to our customers there and locally support the demand for our premium tyres.”

“With the expansion of our sales team to Austria and Switzerland, we want to grow sustainably in both countries and significantly increase our market share,” adds Soo Won Chang, managing director of Hankook Austria and Switzerland. “We will intensify the support of our Austrian and Swiss customers with the new Viennese branch office to fully leverage our brand potential in the future.”
