Traxx Tyres adds Vredestein tyres to distribution range
Traxx Tyres has recently opened a new depot in Wales
UK tyre wholesaler Traxx Tyres has announced a new partnership with Apollo Vredestein. Traxx will initially stock and distribute Vredestein brand tyres, with the possibility of adding the Apollo tyre range in the future.
Mark Darvill, Traxx Tyres managing director, said: “We are very enthusiastic about adding such a prestigious brand to our range, and working closely with Apollo Vredestein UK. Its ambitious growth plans complement ours and we are sure our extensive network of customers, including fleet accounts, will take full advantage of such an opportunity.”
Karl Naylor, Apollo Vredestein UK country manager, added: “We see Traxx Tyres as an ideal partner both to supply hard-to-reach garages and as extra support aimed at improving stock availability for, and delivery service to, existing tyre retail customers. This is particularly important in the slower moving but higher value UHP and SUV sizes which are growing rapidly but less likely to be held in stock by smaller retailers.”
Traxx is offering Vredestein tyres to independent garages, MOT centres and tyre retailers across the country as part of a rapid and frequent delivery service. The wholesaler opened its new depot in Bridgend, Wales in September 2019.
