Goodyear Farm Tires gearing up for Agritechnica
This year’s Agritechnica will host a celebration of the return of one of the most historic and much-loved names in agricultural farm tyres to the European arena.
Based on stand A63 in Hall 19/20 in Hanover, Goodyear Farm Tires will be showcasing its new range after Titan International secured the licence for the European and UK markets.
With a heritage and expertise dating back more than 120 years, Goodyear Farm Tires is breathing fresh life into some of the most important and trusted tread patterns in its range, and its re-introduction into Europe earlier this year has been seen by farmers as a significant landmark.
Much of the attention of visitors to the stand will be around the Optitrac which is the mainstay of the Goodyear Farm Tire range and a firm favourite with farmers who thrive on the premium performance offered on both road and field.
Most Optitracs are capable at working of speeds up to 65 km/h and feature a wear-resistant tread compound to maximise tyre life.
Goodyear Farm Tires’ LSW (Low Sidewall) is also proving extremely popular amongst the farming community, with the exclusive technology featuring a larger rim diameter and a smaller sidewall than the standard tyre. Benefits include improved floatation, reduced soil compaction and an ability to increase load by up to 40 per cent without affecting tyre pressure.
A hybrid of agricultural, industrial and turf tyre tread designs, the R-14 tyre will also be on display in Hanover and represents the perfect solution for multi-application tractors, providing outstanding results on concrete, soft soil and turf.
As well as showcasing its Ultra Sprayer tyre, Goodyear Farm Tires will have experts on hand from Titan USA – Agricultural Product Manager, Scott Sloan and Ryan Zink, Tyre Technology Engineer – offering presentations and expert advice to any individual questions.
With the chance to view the very latest product videos, speak to the sales team and relax with a coffee and snacks, the Goodyear Farm Tires stand will be a must-visit during what is sure to be a memorable week.
Agritechnica is being held at the Hanover Fairground from Sunday 10 – Saturday 16th November 2019.
