Denso invites Automechanika visitors to view e-Videns
In addition to its comprehensive range of original equipment (OE) parts across multiple product categories, Denso will present its unique e-Videns vehicle inspection tool, designed to assist workshops with customer relations and business efficiencies at Automechanika Birmingham.
“Automechanika Birmingham is an important event as it provides us with a tremendous opportunity to showcase both our broad range of OE components and the company behind them, to a dual audience of motor factors and technicians,” said Fatiha Laauich, of Denso Automotive UK. “This is particularly important, because although Denso is a globally recognised brand, many still do not realise the true extent of the company’s product offering.
“As the global leader in thermal systems and a major player in vehicle ignition components (spark and glow plugs, sensors and engine management etc.), the event naturally gives us the means to restate our expertise in these sectors. However, it also allows us to raise awareness of our other products, such as starters and alternators, cabin filters, wiper blades and diesel components – all of which are core products to the UK service and repair industry and means that independents have access to the very best in terms of quality and availability.
“In addition to the products that are manufactured on a global basis for both vehicle manufacturers and the aftermarket, Denso naturally has an unprecedented level of technical capability, which has made it possible to develop e-Videns, a unique vehicle inspection tool specifically designed to instil customer confidence in the processes and abilities of the workshop, while also improving its productivity.
“In the current, fiercely competitive environment, customer relations and business efficiencies are central to the long-term health of workshops, which is why we have chosen the subject and how the e-Videns tool can energise the process, as the topic for our presentation to be made from the event’s official Workshop Training Hub in hall 18 on Wednesday afternoon.
“Our technical guru, Mike Sadler, an aftermarket specialist with extensive workshop experience, will be making the presentation, so we encourage technicians to come and see for themselves the solution the tool provides. They are naturally also welcome on the Denso stand (Q160 on the Visitor Highway in hall 19), where they can speak to a member of the UK team and see the wide range of products in our comprehensive portfolio.”
