With SUV tyre market share continuing to grow, and with SUVs providing the driving comfort of a saloon, but with an exterior shape reminiscent of when 4×4 meant ‘off-road’, Zenises reports that it has crafted what it calls an “Urban Proof Sport Utility Vehicle Tyre”. As you can imagine, the Z UP SUV is aimed at everyday driving in the urban environment.
According to the company, the specially designed Z-UP SUV combines “an attractive visual style, coupled with a comfortable ride and excellent wet grip ability”. Newer, heavier SUVs also need reinforced tyres, so all Z UP SUV tyres are designed with extra load XL capabilities.
But, at the same time, Zenises representatives report that the tyre features lower rolling resistance characteristics to enhance fuel economy.
