SMPE appoints new marketing and communications manager
Leading automotive parts manufacturer and supplier Standard Motor Products Europe (SMPE), has strengthened its team with the appointment of Will Fry as marketing and communications manager.
With a strong academic background, Fry attended the University of Lincoln where he graduated with an Honours degree in Sports Development and Coaching. During his studies, he also became vice president of activities for Lincoln Students Union before working as development officer for England Golf.
In his new role, Fry will be responsible for overseeing the company’s brand management as well as internal and external communications, driving forward SMPE’s marketing strategy in line with today’s industry demands.
Fry commented: “Foremost, my objectives are to help SMPE grow by creating clear and recognisable brands, as well as identifying ways to run unique marketing campaigns that not only achieve their ultimate goal in generating sales but capture the imagination of the industry. For me, it’s about delivering such campaigns to match the forward-thinking outlook and strategy that SMPE has.”
Richard Morley, SMPE commercial director, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Will on board and look forward to him helping us drive our marketing content forward. Our objectives are to continue to raise SMPE’s profile and consolidate our position as Europe’s leading engine management supplier.”
