Marangoni USA increasing tread production

Marangoni Tread North America is adding capacity to manufacture its XP Extreme Performance wide base Ringtread in the US – specifically at its tread manufacturing plant in Tennessee. According to the company, the move is being made to meet business demand from independent retreaders, Marangoni is expanding.

The new production line, which is expected to be up and running in the second quarter of 2019, will produce Ringtreads up to and including
500mm widths.

The plant expansion will allow Marangoni to optimize its demand-driven inventory system and expand it US workforce by 10 per cent, according to Chanthavy Vongsamphanh, VP of operations for Marangoni Tread North
America.
