Fueltone joins IAAF

Fueltone provides a range of fuel additives and engine treatments

Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) has welcomed Fueltone as the latest UK based manufacturer to become a member.

Fueltone provides a range of fuel additives and engine treatments that prevent and solve problems that commonly affect diesel or petrol engines, offering a valuable revenue stream for garages, factors and distributors. Its products not only support mechanics in carrying out their job but also help fleet owners to cut costs

With its headquarters in Aberdeen, its entire product development is carried out by its expert chemists and Fueltone management team in Scotland. Manufacture is UK-based, which allows the company to manage the supply chain effectively, allowing flexibility and responsiveness in response to the varying market demands.

Advantages for both stockists and end users include improved MPG and emissions; saving money and time, using formulas designed to reduce or cure engine problems. These formulas are highly concentrated and available in multi-dose formats, giving garages and factors an ideal profit opportunity.

As a member, Fueltone will get to benefit from a growing number of IAAF services, including HR Lite, the new, free service designed to assist employers with legal matters relating to Employment Law; ADR cover, a range of lifestyle protection plans and more. It will also be invited along to a number of planned network events, with the opportunity to have its say on industry-related issues and generate new business partnerships.

Charlene O’Connor, Fueltone chief executive, said: “As innovators in the field of fuel additives and engine service consumables, it’s important that we stay at the forefront of developments in the market. That way we can continue to develop unique products. Membership of the IAAF provides us with an additional opportunity to better understand our customer needs.

Wendy Williamson, IAAF chief executive, said: “We’d like to warmly welcome Fueltone to the ranks as a new member. The company’s enrolment couldn’t have come at a better time, as a UK-based manufacturer leading the charge in the aftermarket, which is a clear message in the face of so much post-Brexit uncertainty. We look forward to them sharing their industry expertise and insider views at this year’s network meetings.”
