Autoelectro’s new website ‘paying off’
Autoelectro managing director, Tony Bhogal, has lauded the impact of the rotating electrics remanufacturer’s new website following “excellent feedback” from customers since its launch at the beginning of October last year.
A significant number of motor factor staff members and technicians have already signed-up, and they have been utilising the various functions the site – www.autoelectro.co.uk – offers on a modern and easy-to-use interface.
Bhogal said: “We have been delighted and encouraged by the volume of visitors, numbers of sign-ups and the response received so far. Of course, it is early days and the website will improve over time, but we couldn’t be happier with the results from the time and resources spent on creating the website.
“Having been immersed inside the automotive aftermarket for more than 30 years, we are confident that we know exactly what both technicians and factor staff want from us, whether that be diagnosis and repair bulletins, price checks, comprehensive part searches and availability or using our new and reliable ‘track and trace’ service.”
Autoparts Cumbria’s Manager, Chris Cook, is one of those to sign up and has shared what he’s found to be the most useful aspects of Autoelectro’s new online portal: “The most important part of the website, for our business, is the core collections. We can see what’s outstanding, which allows us to be more organised and efficient in-house.
“If ever there is an issue (with core), we would usually need to call-up or spend time filling in forms; however, the new website has quickened up the process and means we can do it all ourselves, allowing us to focus on other aspects of the business.
“The ‘track and trace’ is also an innovative tool, as it allows us to stay ahead of what we’ve ordered and when it’s on its way – it’s useful information that we can share with our customers, too.”
