Run-flats set for “huge growth” by 2023

HTF MI has released a new market study on run-flats. The research study, which provides forecasts the size of the run-flat sector till 2025, suggest Bridgestone, Michelin, Goodyear, Continental, Pirelli, Hankook, Sumitomo Rubber, Yokohama, Giti, Kumho and Cheng Shin Rubber are key players.

According to the company, the research gives special attention to: “North America (US, Canada, Mexico), Europe (Germany, UK, France, Italy, Russia, Spain), South America (Brazil, Argentina) as well as the Middle East and Africa (Saudi Arabia, South Africa).

While promotional material doesn’t give much away, the short story is that the report suggests there will be “huge growth” in run-flat tyre sales between now and 2023.
