Dębica introduces Frigo SUV2

A new SUV winter range is available from Dębica. Called the Frigo SUV2, the newcomer is described as a “wallet-friendly tyre that is suitable for all winter conditions.” It joins the Frigo 2 and Frigo HP2 in the Dębica winter portfolio and will be available in six sizes. The first three come to market this month and a further two are scheduled to launch before the end of the year.

The Frigo SUV2 has a v-shaped tread pattern that is designed to disperse water and thus combat aquaplaning, and the tread contains multiple edges and sipes that dig into the snow to provide extra grip. The Goodyear brand also points out that the Frigo SUV2 comes with a wider footprint that offers a larger contact patch to aid braking on icy surfaces. Last but not least, the tyre’s construction was developed with rolling resistance optimisation in mind.

“When our engineers created the Dębica Frigo SUV2, we purposely designed it to deliver strong performance at a reasonable price,” comments Piotr Nagalski, marketing director for Dębica Europe. “Drivers now have a tire which excels in all winter conditions while being friendly to the wallet.”
