Linglong Tire commences cooperation with FAW

On 1 September 2018, Chinese vehicle manufacturer FAW Group Corporation signed a product technical cooperation framework agreement with Shandong Linglong Tire. The two parties intend to collaborate on the development of tyres for new models produced by FAW.

Linglong says that in future, the two parties will cooperate to a greater extent in product design and development, quality assurance, cost optimisation, manufacturing and social responsibility. The tyre maker’s relations with FAW date back more than 20 years; during this period, Linglong has supplied original equipment tyres to many FAW models. It views the contract’s signing as “another major breakthrough in close cooperation between the two sides.”
