National sees growth in export markets
National Auto Parts has experienced considerable growth in export markets in the past year, as the company looks to fly the flag for UK engineering at Automechanika Frankfurt.
With a growing customer base abroad and further opportunities being explored in Poland, Scandinavia, Ukraine and Germany, National has invested in all areas of its business to ensure it offers an exciting proposition for a growing, diverse customer base.
Responding to the government’s call to make 2018 the “Year of Engineering”, National has invested in engineering apprenticeships alongside skilled, experienced engineers as part of plans to keep pace with technological developments in the vehicle parc.
All design and product specification work for National’s extensive clutch and brake range is carried out at its Somercotes facility in Derbyshire. The UK facility maintains it engineering focus and high availability with the ability to produce and re-engineer bespoke products quickly.
David Houlden, National Auto Parts managing director, said: “Our export business is thriving and it’s important that the UK aftermarket plays its part in promoting UK engineering. Our expertise in the UK and investment in new technologies and people means that we have a quality proposition for export customers.”
National Auto Parts has announced it will be exhibiting at Automechanika Frankfurt, showcasing its full product range on Stand D82 in Hall 5.1, taking place at Messe Frankfurt on 11 – 15 September 2018.
The portfolio, including brake discs, brake drums, brake pads, clutch kits, clutch concentric slave cylinders, conventional solid flywheel replacement kits for dual mass flywheel applications and wheel hub units, will be demonstrated on stand, backed by its expert personnel who will be on hand to answer any technical questions as well as share the latest industry developments.
