MTS invests in electronic trading with customers

MTS Exhausts Systems, distributed in the UK by Opera Automotive, has become the latest company to invest in electronic trading with motor factors as part of its wider plans to grow the brand in the UK automotive aftermarket.

By embracing PACT, the joint venture between eparts and TecAlliance, more than 2000 motor factor locations are able to make enquiries and place orders electronically with MTS, before they are supplied on a next day delivery service from its head office and warehouse facility in Doncaster.

MTS offers a product range comprising 3000+ part numbers. The range includes silencers, catalytic converters and fittings and covers more than 95 percent of the UK vehicle parc.  MTS products are manufactured in Italy, where the entire production process is subject to more than 900 quality controls every day, confirming its conformity to the original part.

Cristian Sarri, Opera Automotive managing director, said: “In addition to offering a premium quality product, we want to make sure that we are considerably easy to deal with and electronic trading has long been a part of our investment plans for the UK aftermarket. It offers excellent visibility of our product range and allows distributors to place enquiries and orders with ease.

Mark Rudge of PACT said: “PACT electronic trading is a must for suppliers in the aftermarket and its fantastic to see relatively new entrants, like MTS, declare their intent to grow by investing in the service. With such a quality-led product, we shall continue to monitor their growth with UK motor factors.”
