John Thomas joins Duraturn USA

In the USA, industry veteran John Thomas has joined Yangchang Rubber/Duraturn as its local sales director. He previously served as director of sales West Canada for Sentury Tire North America and has more than 30 years of tyre industry sales experience.

Ken Coltrane, vice president of YC Rubber North America, said: “John has a proven track record in successfully managing sales teams and positively impacting sales revenue wherever he has been. His relationships and credibility with North American dealers will be a tremendous asset as the Duraturn brand continues to grow in North America and gain acceptance from consumers.”

Thomas has experience in commercial and consumer tyre sales and has held positions in regional sales, fleet sales as well as serving as an executive VP of sales and marketing.

Duraturn tyres for passenger cars, light trucks and specialty trailers are manufactured by Yanchang Rubber and distributed in the US by Yanchang Rubber North America, based in Pasadena, California. Duraturn commercial truck tyres from YC Rubber are available through YC Rubber’s exclusive North American distributor, CMA.
