Juventus, Linglong Tire hold partnership ceremony in Turin
The start of a partnership between Linglong Tire and Juventus FC in February has been cemented by an official ceremony at the football club’s home stadium in Turin. The ceremony took place on 22 April and was attended by Wang Feng, chairman of Linglong Tire, and Giorgio Ricci, Juventus’ co-chief revenue officer and head of global partnership and corporate revenues. Antonio Cabrini, former Juventus player and captain, was also in attendance.
Since it became an official Juventus global partner in February, the Linglong brand has been a visible feature at all Juventus home matches in the Serie A league as well as during the 2017-18 Coppa Italia. The tyre maker and football club have also launched a series of joint fan activities.
Juventus expects that its partnership with Linglong Tire will increase the club’s international development in China, a country where it enjoys considerable support. Wang Feng views the agreement as an opportunity for Linglong Tire “to reach over 300 million Bianconeri fans.” He says the two parties will “work together to develop activations dedicated to the numerous fans and consumers present in Asia and the rest of the world while working to improve Linglong’s influence on a global level.”
