TRS Tyres the latest to invest in CAM UniSerV and e-jobsheet

Morecambe-based TRS Tyres is to become a UniSerV user and a subscriber to e-jobsheet, the open-access, digital tablet-based service work platform for truck, bus and van, to enhance its commercial tyre service operations.  The agreement means that the operator will be able to introduce time savings and efficiencies into its business to reduce costs as well as improve service agility and operational visibility.

The investment will connect TRS to other UniSerV users that are fully integrated with e-jobsheet as well as standalone e-jobsheet subscribers via the TiDaeX online hub. The deal will also see TRS work with CAM International to extend the e-jobsheet app to include tyre collection functionality.

Chris Rose, general manager, TRS, says, “We’re confident we will be able to add greater value to our customers by improving efficiencies and data dissemination, including providing full visibility of work carried out, which is almost instantaneously available back from the field.  We are also looking forward to integrating vehicle tracking data into our new platform for added service effectiveness.”

Steve Daly, director of CAM International, comments, “TRS’ commitment to integration will bring considerable benefits to its customers.  Using the e-jobsheet app, TRS will benefit long term from the receipt of near real-time data to support its casing management operations, increasing the accuracy, speed, agility and visibility of all service offerings.”
