Hankook bringing world premières and smart tyre solutions to The Tire Cologne
With 400 metres of exhibition space at The Tire Cologne, the team at Hankook Tire has plenty of room to stretch out. Or to present a broad range of products, including its new all-weather car tyre. The world première of this tyre – Hankook is keeping mum about its name – will take place at Stand A050, in Hall 6.1.
Alongside the new all-season product, successor to the Hankook Kinergy 4S, Hankook Tire promises other world premières, and it will also will exhibit its current car, SUV, bus and truck line-ups. It will also use its presence at the trade fair to promote the victory of the Hankook Ventus Prime³ in this year’s 50-tyre Auto Bild summer test, arguably the most comprehensive tyre test performed in Europe.
Those who prefer commercial vehicle tyres will find the Hankook truck and bus range more to their liking. Commercial products on display at The Tire Cologne include the new SmartCity AU04+.
In addition to displaying the Hankook tyre range and, in a dedicated separate area, products from second-brand Laufenn, Hankook Tire will show off a number of tyre technologies at The Tire Cologne. These include sound absorber, which reduces interior noise and is used a number of original equipment tyres, Sealguard sealant tyres for OEM Volkswagen, and the HRS (Hankook Runflat System), which is fitted as original equipment on the current 7 Series BMW.
Those who’ve visited the tyre maker at past fairs will expect to find a tuned car on the Hankook Tire stand, and they won’t be disappointed. Hankook is bringing its current project vehicle to The Tire Cologne, an Eibach Audi RS5 shod in 20-inch Ventus S1 evo² tyres.
