Nokian Tyres to launch four new winter ranges

Four entirely new Nokian winter tyre ranges are to be introduced in time for the colder months in 2018/19. These lines will start shipping to retailers in spring, with a large size portfolio available to consumers this coming autumn.

The main new winter product for European motorists is the Nokian WR SUV 4. Nokian Tyres says this tyre is suited for varying winter weather and offers “excellent handling,” thereby maximising “peace of mind even at higher speeds.”

For the Nordic, Russian and North American markets, Nokian Tyres has the non-studded Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 and R3 SUV. The tyre maker describes the Hakkapeliitta R3 as being “the number one choice for those who value unique driving comfort, safety and greener driving.” In addition to the abovementioned key markets, the two ranges will also support Nokian Tyres’ business in other markets, such as China, Japan and Ukraine.

The fourth upcoming range from Nokian Tyres is an all-season line – Nokian calls it an all-weather tyre – for North America. This is the Nokian WR G4, a passenger car tyre said to offer “balanced handling and reliable grip” to “ensure safe driving in every season.”

Nokian Tyres says it intends to publish more information on these new winter tyres later this winter and in the coming spring.
