Goodyear claims ‘highest mileage’ with new tyre for North America

Mileage is a quality that consumers in North America look at closely when buying replacement tyres, and therefore the following superlative from Goodyear Tire & Rubber is significant. With its new Assurance MaxLife, the tyre maker has “introduced the highest-mileage tyre in its nearly 120-year history.”

Goodyear says the Goodyear Assurance MaxLife delivers “up to 30 per cent miles of all-season traction” compared to a standard all-season tyre. These extra miles come courtesy of the tyre maker’s ‘TredLife’ technology. Putting its money where its mouth is, Goodyear demonstrates its confidence in the Assurance MaxLife’s mileage capability with the inclusion of an 85,000-mile limited tread life warranty.

Available in 45 sizes for 15- to 20-inch rim diameters, Goodyear comments that the Assurance MaxLife range covers three quarters of the cars, minivans and SUVs on North American roads today.
