Automechanika Birmingham: 2018 demand ‘increasing’

Over 500 exhibitors are expected to attend the 2018 Automechanika Birmingham event and stand space is said to be selling fast. Among others, exhibitors include: Delphi, Hella, Liqui Moly, MANN+HUMMEL, Bosch, Snap-On, Milwaukee Tools, Gates Power Transmission, GroupAuto, Texa, Draper Tools, Dura, JHM Butt, ITW, ISN, Certas Energy and others.

In addition, Jack Halliday joined the organisers’ team as head of sales last month, bringing over 15 years of experience from the exhibition industry to the team.

Halliday commented: “I am delighted to have joined the team at a really exciting time for Automechanika Birmingham. We have introduced lots of new initiatives for 2018 and are seeing a strong demand from big brands, new suppliers and SMEs from across the aftermarket and vehicle production. The new Workshop Quarter, a dedicated hall for workshop equipment and tools, has been particularly well received by suppliers in the aftermarket. We believe that shaping the event to suit the needs of the UK market is the route to a successful event for the industry.”

Other developments will include extended opening hours in the Workshop Quarter, an enhanced content programme including expert speakers, free training and live demonstrations.
