ITMA joins Germany’s BRV

The International Tyre Manufacturers’ Association (ITMA) has joined Germany’s association of tyre, wheel and car service specialists, Bundesverband Reifenhandel und Vulkaniseur-Handwerk (BRV) as an associate member

Headquartered in Bonn, BRV has 1,900 member companies whose combined sales account for 80 per cent of the sector’s total volume in Germany through a retail network of approximately 3,500 outlets. In addition to representing its members’ interests to the legislature and other associations, BRV also originates invaluable technical resources.

The mutually beneficial agreement means ITMA will now have access to that guidance as well as BRV’s wider expertise.

ITMA president, Alfred Graham, said: “BRV is universally respected for its insight and unparalleled expertise in the German tyre market, both of which will be of significant value to ITMA. On behalf of ITMA, we look forward to working with BRV.”
