Michael Schwöbel leaving Pirelli

Michael Schwöbel, who as ‘Geschäftsführer Zentrale Bereiche’ holds responsibility for the key business areas of finance, law, logistics, purchasing, IT and public relations within Pirelli’s operation in Germany, will part ways with the tyre maker on 31 October 2017. In a statement, Pirelli has thanked Schwöbel for the contribution made during a 34-career with the tyre maker, including management positions at Pirelli Deutschland GmbH since 2000.

“Michael Schwöbel has rendered first-class performance for the company over many years,” said Dr.-Ing. Wilfried Wentz, chairman of the Pirelli Deutschland GmbH Supervisory Board. “He has now decided upon a new professional challenge. We sincerely thank him for his contribution and wish him good luck and every success for the future.”
