SRI setting up rubber parts plant in Slovenia

Sumitomo Rubber Industries has announced it will set up a new non-tyre production site in Slovenia. The facility will manufacture rubber parts for medical applications and be set up as a subsidiary of Lonstroff AG, a firm acquired by Sumitomo Rubber in 2015. The Lonstroff Medical Elastomers plant will be built with an investment of 34 million euros and is expected to enter production in April 2019.
