CST appoints Americas region field engineers

Two new field engineer appointments at Continental Commercial Specialty Tires (CST) will support customers in the Americas. Albert Sumera will be responsible for the earthmover, industrial, solid tyre and other products in the USA and Canada, while Robert Reid will cover South America and Mexico. Both will report to Adrian Leu, senior manager technical solutions the Americas. Continental comments that the new positions are part of its CST 2025 growth strategy and coincide with the appointment of two new field engineers for EMEA.

Sumera has 20 years of experience at Yokohama Tire, both in the US and abroad. Recently, he worked as independent consultant for special projects and technical operations for tyre performance testing. Reid also has a solid background in the tyre business: He has worked at different companies, such as PTS S.A./Mitsui and Eurotire.
