‘Code Brakers’ rewarded at Automechanika Birmingham
Brake Engineering presented a selection of high-end giveaways to a series of ‘Code Brakers’ on its stand at Automechanika Birmingham, including an iPad, iWatch, BOSE speaker, Beats headphones and Love 2 Shop vouchers. The ‘Code Braker’ competition proved popular with visitors throughout the course of the event, resulting in heavy traffic to the braking specialist’s stand on each day.
Alison Cook, Melksham Motor Spares director, was the first winner: “I was totally surprised when I won an iPad. The competition was a great way to get visitors onto the stand and it created a welcoming environment to discuss business. What’s more, it put a smile on my face for the rest of the show.”
Customers were made aware of the giveaway before the show via a comprehensive marketing campaign whereby they were targeted via a variety of online channels including; advertising banners, emails, and using various social media platforms.
A web page was specifically created to enable customers to sign up to receive their unique code that they could then enter into the safe on stand. If the code was successful, the safe opened and the winner was then able to choose an envelope with details of their prize.
Alternatively, iPad stations were located on stand for added convenience, allowing visitors to register on the day.
Adam Griffiths, UK marketing specialist, said: “We wanted to celebrate the customer and create a fun, engaging stand. The interactive competition definitely attracted attention and created a dialogue among visitors at the show. No one walked away empty handed as a number of giveaways were also available for visitors, including official Brake Engineering merchandise.”
Brake Engineering’s full product range of brake calipers, hydraulics, pads, discs, drums and shoes and brand new packaging was also demonstrated on the stand, by its team of braking experts.
