Best Stand accolade for Goodyear Dunlop at NAPFM

NAPFM delegates voted Goodyear Dunlop’s stand the best

Goodyear Dunlop picked up the award for Best Stand – Equipment Supplier at the annual National Association of Police Fleet Managers Conference (NAPFM) earlier this month. Delegates attending the show at Telford’s International Centre voted the Goodyear Dunlop stand the best for its aesthetics, as well as for the products and services provided throughout the year.

The NAPFM, in its 44th year, presents the top suppliers to the Police fleet managers and offers the opportunity to engage and discuss products and services in a relaxed atmosphere. On its stand, Goodyear Dunlop displayed its tyres alongside the World Endurance Championship Aston Martin Vantage GT8, and the 2015 Isle of Man TT winning McGuinness Padgett’s Honda also made an appearance, however the tyre maker considers its Goodyear Eagle 360 Urban concept tyre the star of the stand.

Percy LeMaire, Goodyear’s tyre technology director Consumer EMEA was at the show and shared the company’s vision for the future of tyres. Goodyear Dunlop comments that the presentation was well received by the audience with many delegates coming on to the stand to ask questions afterwards.

David Morris, business account manager, Public Sector and Corporate Leasing for Goodyear Dunlop commented: “We are thrilled to have received the award for Best Stand, the team worked hard to bring many aspects of our two premium brands to the show and this obviously worked. The fact that the delegate votes were not only based on the visual appeal of the stand but also on the service we have provided to them across the year really means a lot.”

David Howe, Goodyear Dunlop’s head of Fleet added: “We always enjoy attending the NAPFM show, it is a great opportunity to talk to all of the fleet managers from across the country. We were fortunate that our director of tyre technology, Percy LeMaire, joined us to present to the delegates. The content of this presentation has helped the Police fleet managers from across the UK understand where tyre technology is heading and how much fleets will drive these changes in the next five to ten years. We look forward to working with Police fleets over the coming years to integrate new technology into their fleets.”
