Michelin gives details of further price increases

Tucked away within an investor presentation given at the JP Morgan Investor Forum in Amsterdam last Friday, Michelin gave further information regarding its scheduled price increases for the European market. In addition to the previously announced five to eight per cent increases for truck tyres that took effect this month, prices for passenger car and light truck tyres will increase by two to three per cent from June and prices for tyres in the agricultural segment will go up by 12 per cent in July.
