International Singapore-based contract tyre brand Firenza continues to maintain a presence in the UK and Europe as a supplier of high performance tyres with the firm’s ST22 range.

The Firenza ST22 high performance pattern is exclusively produced in South East Asia within a professional manufacturing facility that uses the latest tyre building machinery to provide an attractive tread design to suit the demanding requirements of European drivers of high-powered sports saloon cars.

The ST22 offers features and benefits including an asymmetrical tread pattern that incorporates a special rib design and rigid outside shoulder area as well as a semi-flexible outer rib formation that ensures a high level of cornering stability, precision steering levels plus outstanding driving comfort. Also a rigid centre rib design guarantees an additional level of grip in the tyre’s contact area for shorter braking distances on dry roads.

Whilst four wide grooves give the ultimate performance levels of water drainage and lateral sipes and slots with a polymeric compound provide shorter braking distances on wet roads. Plus a tapered sipe design presents lower noise levels and an improved belt construction with increased polymer to filler ratio gives lower rolling resistance and increased fuel economy.
