Richard Bender named Tire Dealers Association of Canada president

The Tire Dealers Association of Canada has announced the appointment of Richard Bender as president. TDAC’s primary mandate is maintaining a strong liaison with provincial tyre associations across Canada. The Tire Dealers of Canada recently announced they will be hosting a national trade show and convention in Toronto during September 2018.

Bender has enjoyed a long career of some 50 years within the Canadian tyre industry. His current position is vice president business operations, Tire Discounter Group Inc.

In making the announcement Bob Bignell, executive director of TDAC said: “We are delighted Richard has accepted this appointment. We look forward to working with him on a number of various issues which directly impact our industry”.
