New Bridgestone EMEA executive appointments
Two new executive roles have been created in order to drive profitable growth within Bridgestone’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) business unit.
Laurent Dartoux has been appointed chief strategy and marketing officer for Bridgestone EMEA. In this role, he will drive end-to-end new product and solutions development, strategic partnerships as well as Brands Marketing. Laurent will also be a board member of Speedy, the French tyre retailer that Bridgestone acquired last year, and the BRISA Bridgestone Sabanci joint venture in Turkey. He will continue to be a member of the company’s Executive Committee and officer of the Bridgestone Corporation.
Riccardo Cichi has been appointed chief sales officer for Bridgestone EMEA. He will drive top line sales and financial performance through the management of the EMEA region. Riccardo will also become a member of Executive Committee. He joins Bridgestone from Pirelli North America, where he led the sales organisation in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Dartoux and Cichi began in their new positions on 1 March and report to Paolo Ferrari, chief executive officer and president of the Bridgestone EMEA unit.
