GSF Car Parts’ ski week hailed as a great success
GSF Car Parts has completed a skiing trip to France’s Val d’Isere resort for 60 customers, suppliers and members of the GSF management team. Key personnel from invited supporting suppliers such as Banner, Sogefi, Brembo, Elstock, Schaeffler and Tetrosyl attended, though most of the travelling party were invited from GSF’s trade customer base of independent garages.
Fair weather and spring conditions topped off excellent existing snow conditions as the group thoroughly enjoyed a week-long break. Ski school was arranged by GSF for the beginners in the party whilst the more advanced skiers roamed independently over the resort’s pistes, valleys, restaurants and bars.
“We’ve put on a number of ski trips in the past but the format this year worked superbly,” said Jonny West, GSF’s managing director. “We stayed in great facilities which set us up for a relaxing break with everyone getting along really well.”
The whole party stayed at The Lodge, just off Val d’Isere’s main street. The premium ski lodge had been newly refurbished for this season; it married the charm of a traditional Alpine ski lodge with relaxed modern interiors and included a comprehensive range of bar, dining and leisure facilities.
“It was a fantastic week at Val d’Isere,” said Andrew Crowe, owner of German car specialists Altrincham Autotecnic. “It was a brilliant trip, I’d like to thank and congratulate GSF, the suppliers and all involved for creating a great experience.”
