Euro Car Parts launches new trade website
Euro Car Parts has launched its new trade website, Omnipart. The new site features market-leading search technology with the aim of making any part for any car only a click away. Technicians can now search for parts by vehicle registration, VIN or model number with enhanced vehicle details, such as engine or chassis number, associated to every part.
The entire Euro Car Parts catalogue is available, including mechanical and collision parts, tools and workshop consumables, with each product easily identified by a high-resolution photograph. The website will also save a technician’s previous searches, including quotes, making regular orders quicker and easier to place online.
Omnipart allows technicians to see both local and national stock levels, as well as price checks, in real time so that garages can have an indication of how long it will take for a part to be delivered. Each Euro Car Parts account customer gets their own Delivery Commitment Service Level Agreement, with stock held in local branches being delivered to garages in as little as 30 minutes or, if a part is stored at a regional distribution centre, within as little as two hours depending on a workshop’s location.
Technicians can now also order everything they need to service a vehicle in one place just by typing a car’s registration number into Omnipart. Quick service kit look-up will find all of the correct parts and display them on the same screen so that ordering the parts for a routine service is now quicker and easier.
Martin Gray, CEO of Euro Car Parts, commented: “We developed Omnipart as a key driver in our commitment to making life even easier for technicians working in the independent sector. With 24/7 access to ordering, instant updates on parts availability and smart search technology, garages can make sure the parts they need are included in the first order of the day. Ordering online also reduces the cost of outbound calls, keeping phones clear for a garage’s own customers.”
Launched by Euro Car Parts in March, the website has been developed to further meet customer needs following an extensive consultation process with independent garages. Fully responsive, it can be used on any device, be it a desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone.
