BBC Superfactors expands van fleet

The Parts Alliance member BBC Superfactors has added five new Nissan NV200 vans to their growing fleet, helping support their ‘one hour’ order delivery target for garage customers.

The new vehicles, sourced from Chorley Nissan, will take the total for the seven branch Lancashire motor factors past 60 vans. Despite impressive growth, BBC Superfactors is keen to retain a family ethos.

“We’ve been established 33 years and now have 12 family members working with us,” said managing director Gary Shulman. “We’re always looking for ways to develop the business and improve the service we offer our customers.”

According to Shulman, the new vans will bring more opportunities; besides adding more overall capacity, larger load areas on the NV200s mean more deliveries can made on each route to boost efficiency during peak periods.

The vans all feature striking liveries produced by local designers Grafx from Clitheroe which have been joint-branded with key suppliers to The Parts Alliance including Delphi, Comma and Valeo.

One of the vans will be based at the expanded Rawtenstall branch which has just moved to a new 6,000 square foot unit to meet growing trade demand, doubling the size of the previous site opened eight years ago.

“We can hold more stock at Rawtenstall now and in particular bulk stocks that we receive in containers or on pallets including tyres,” said Shulman.
