Alliance Tire Americas appoints new VP of operations

John Mancinelli is the new vice-president of operations at Alliance Tire Americas (ATA). Describing him as a “logistics expert”, ATA shares that Mancinelli brings with him more than 15 years of experience in leading complex operations, logistics, demand planning and customer support organisation for global leaders in other sectors. Prior to joining ATA in September 2016, Mancinelli was director of customer operations at Welch Foods, and other previous roles include senior positions at Timberland, Procter & Gamble and Gillette.

According to ATA president Jim Clark, Mancinelli’s experience in operations management, strategic planning and supply chain management and design will be “critical” as the company strives to improve service to customers through maximised on-time, in-full delivery.

“We’re glad that John has agreed to join us at this critical time in our company’s history,” said Clark. “As our organisation grows and becomes more complex, we are constantly working to improve our standards of customer satisfaction. John has brought customer service and on-time delivery to remarkable levels in his previous jobs, and he is exactly the kind of expert we need in our team here at Alliance.”

Mancinelli will report directly to Clark and work at out the ATA office in Wakefield, Massachusetts.
